End Of An Era
First of all, my apologies for the delay in posting. I realize it's been over a month. Things have been pretty hectic, there's a lot going that I won't even begin to mention here, and to top it all off, I found out a couple of weeks ago that our secretary is retiring. Not only is she the glue that holds the firm together, she's become a close friend and I will miss her a lot.
I've been busy this past week training, or trying to train, her replacement. The reason she's not doing it is she's on vacation; she'll be back in a week. So I've had my hands full doing not only all the funeral director/embalmer stuff, but also the administrative stuff, as well. I don't know how this replacement is going to work out. It may be she won't make the cut, then we'll have to start training someone else.
On a side note, I've been kicking around the idea of closing down this blog. I haven't made a decision yet, and one of the things that's stopping me is the idea of somehow getting all these entries backed up or saved offline. I'm not sure what the best way to do that would be. I could copy and paste them into a word processor, but with around 400+ entries, that seems a little daunting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
