I'm a Funeral Services graduate embarking on a new career. I graduated high school in 1981, served honorably in the United States Navy from 1982-1986, been married since 1986, and have one son. I've relocated to a new state and have begun working in my chosen profession of Funeral Services, and I've never been happier.

Help Enough At Last

We've hired three new people in the last couple of months. We now have a licensed director to work at the new location, a secretary in training for the new location, and another errand guy. Takes A Day Off is on vacation, and I start mine in 16 days. I can't wait. Naturally, since we hired all these people work has slowed to a crawl. We spend most of our days cleaning and looking busy. Occasionally we get a call, but the majority of those have been direct cremation. We do have two funerals coming up, however. Visitation tomorrow at the original location, mass and burial on Friday (my day off). Next Wednesday we'll have services at the new location. Again, burial to follow.
